React Redux: Use data from props or get data directly from redux-store? Which one is better?

To fix the issue you can do Even if you are passing the data through props you will still need at one point to take it out from the redux-store.
If you are passing data from another component, you will mix that component concern and you will find yourself passing data through 3-4-5 layers even though you use it only in one.

hop of those help? I found your API and test interface here: https://skypickerbookingapi1.docs.apiary.io/#reference/check-flights/checkflights/check_flights?console=1
So it seems that you are getting this object for your response:
code :
{
  "server_time": 1516568910,
  "flights_checked": false,
  "extra_fee": 0,
  // blah blah,

  "flights": [

    // first flight

    {
      "bags_recheck_required": false,
      "dtime_unix": 1524646800,
      "extra": "",
      "atime_unix": 1524651600,
      "priority_boarding": {
        "currency": null,
        "price": null,
        "is_possible": false
      },
      "price": 313,
      "currency": "NOK",
      "price_new": 313,
      // blah blah
    },

    // second flight
   {
      "bags_recheck_required": true,
      "dtime_unix": 1524683400,
      "extra": "",
      "atime_unix": 1524691800,
      "priority_boarding": {
        "currency": null,
        "price": null,
        "is_possible": false
      },
      "price": 1560,
      "currency": "NOK",
      "price_new": 1560,
      // blah blah
   },
   // more and more flights
this.props.flights.map(this.renderFlights) //this is correct
renderFlights(one_single_flight){
        // add key to make them unique
        return(
            <tr>
                <td>{one_single_flight.id}</td>
                <td>{one_single_flight.src_country}</td>
                <td>{one_single_flight.dst_country}</td>
            </tr>
        );
    }
}

Order of component life cycle with react-redux connect and redux data

By : j.y
Date : March 29 2020, 07:55 AM
I wish this helpful for you connect is an HOC which wraps your component, so the component lifecycle method comes after the connect lifecycle. For simple understanding, you can think of connect being written like this
code :
const connect = (mapStateToProps, mapDispatchToProps) => (Component) => {
    return class ReduxApp extends React.Component {
        // lifecycle of connect
        render() {
            return (
                 <Component {...mapStateToProps(state)} />
            )
        }
    }
}
Connect (DATA AVAILABLE) -> constructor & componentWillMount & componentDidMount
Connect (DATA AVAILABLE) -> componentWillReceiveProps/getDerivedStateFromProps -> componentWillUpdate -> render -> componentDidUpdate

React/Redux - Passing JSON data from one API call to another Redux action using Thunk

By : yasser kayalli

like below fixes the issue I'm new to Redux and I am sending an API request to the Spotify API. I am using Thunk and have an action called FetchCurrentlyPlaying which fetches the current song that is being played. , You can dispatch other actions from your thunk
code :
const FetchAlbums = albumId => dispatch => axios(albumId)
  .then((data) => {
    dispatch(setAlbum(data));
  });

const FetchCurrentlyPlaying = song => dispatch => axios(song)
  .then((data) => {
    dispatch(setSong(data));
    dispatch(FetchAlbums(data.albumId));
  });
