Docker flask app not working - port issues

hop of those help? You are not specifying the output port on the Python code. It maps to the default port, which is 5000. Use app.run(debug=True, port=3000) if you want to expose to port 3000. You also have to export the Docker port on host, do this calling -p 3000:3000 before . It will tell Docker to map port 3000 of the image to port 3000 of host.

Deploying a minimal flask app in docker - server connection issues

I hope this helps . The problem is you are only binding to the localhost interface, you should be binding to if you want the container to be accessible from outside. If you change:
code :
if __name__ == '__main__':
if __name__ == '__main__':

To fix this issue flask is being installed for python 2.7x
as @polku suggested, try making use of pip3 if you wish to use the python3 interpreter
code :
FROM ubuntu:latest

RUN apt-get update -y
RUN apt-get install -y python3-pip python3.5

COPY . /server
WORKDIR /server

RUN pip3 install flask SQLAlchemy

ENTRYPOINT ["python3.5"]
CMD ["server.py"]

Expose a different port for Flask App inside Docker Container

hop of those help? Your flask app has no clue about which port is put in dockerfile. You can leave your application at the default port and tell docker to expose it on the desired port with the -p option:
code :
docker run -i -t -p 6080:5000 ...

around this issue I kind of fixed this rare issue by starting the celery worker using eventlet:
celery worker -A app.controller.engine.celery -l info --concurrency=2 --pool eventlet

How can I run docker-compose multiple times without port issues?

hope this fix your issue You can do this by specifying a different project name using the COMPOSE_PROJECT_NAME environment variable or the --project-name flag for docker-compose. All services, networks, and volumes are created and named per-project.
