TypeError: got multiple values for argument

By : Durant Kombou
Date : March 29 2020, 07:55 AM
Hope this helps This happens when a keyword argument is specified that overwrites a positional argument. For example, let's imagine a function that draws a colored box. The function selects the color to be used and delegates the drawing of the box to another function, relaying all extra arguments.
code :
def color_box(color, *args, **kwargs):
    painter.select_color(color)
    painter.draw_box(*args, **kwargs)
color_box("blellow", color="green", height=20, width=30)
# misplaced height and width
color_box(20, 30, color="green")

I wish did fix the issue. This pen answers you questions and print to the console as you requested: http://codepen.io/Saar/pen/OyNeEY?editors=101
code :
var gmarkers1 = [];
var markers1 = [];
var infowindow = new google.maps.InfoWindow({

TypeError: pivot_table() got multiple values for keyword argument 'values'

By : Nick
Date : March 29 2020, 07:55 AM
wish helps you I am using Python2.7. I am learning pandas and was implementing pivot_table. While implementing the example given in pivot_table documentation : , You need remove df:
code :
              #here
df.pivot_table(df,index = ['A','B'], values = 'D',columns = 'C', aggfunc = 'sum')
a = df.pivot_table(index = ['A','B'], values = 'D',columns = 'C', aggfunc = 'sum')
print (a)
C        large  small
A   B
bar one    4.0    5.0
    two    7.0    6.0
foo one    4.0    1.0
    two    NaN    6.0

TypeError: scatter() got multiple values for argument 'c'

By : Srikanth
Date : March 29 2020, 07:55 AM
Hope this helps From this SO Thread, you can see why you have this error.
Fom the Scatter documentation, c is the 2nd optional argument, and the 4th argument total. This error means that your unpacking on np.transpose(signal_mfcc) returns more than 4 items. And as you define c later on, it is defined twice and it cannot choose which one is correct.
code :
def temp(n, c=0):
    pass
temp(*[1, 2], c=1)
# Traceback (most recent call last):
#   File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module>
# TypeError: temp() got multiple values for argument 'c'

TypeError: drop() got multiple values for argument 'axis' when dropping multiple columns

By : user3170527

To fix this issue According to the pandas documentation for DataFrame.drop, you need to pass either a single label, or a list if you have multiple columns:
code :
X = tips.drop(['tip','higher_than_15pct_True'], axis = 1)
