CSS: How to hide when fadeout completes?

Date : July 30 2020, 10:00 PM
hop of those help? I am using the snackbar code from here https://www.w3schools.com/howto/tryit.asp?filename=tryhow_js_snackbar, which has a timeout function to hide div when fadeout completes. It works OK, but not highly synchronized. Sometimes I see fadeout stops abruptly while in other cases it reappears after fadeout then quickly disappears. , Instead of using from and to, use percentages like below:
code :
@keyframes fadein {
    0% {bottom: 0; opacity: 0; display: none;}
    1% {bottom: 0; opacity: 0; display: block;}
    100% {bottom: 30px; opacity: 1; display: block;}

@keyframes fadeout {
    0% {bottom: 30px; opacity: 1; display: block;}
    99% {bottom: 0; opacity: 0; display: block;}
    100% {bottom: 0; opacity: 0; display: none;}

    $(document).ready(function() {

around this issue I'm fading in and out some list items to create a news ticker using the following code. , I post the solution :
code :
.ticker-wrap {
    background-color: #ccc;
    z-index : 1;

    z-index : 2;

ul#ticker {
    font-size: 1.2em;
    padding: .43em;

ul#ticker li {
    color: #fff;

around this issue Use the complete function to run your code when one function finishes. For example,
code :
$('#top p').mouseover(function(){
    $('#photo1').fadeIn(2000, function(){
        //This will run when the fadeIn is complete

fadeOut() callback completes before fading is done

To fix the issue you can do You are currently passing the result of the swapFont() call, instead you need to point to the function itself.
So this:
code :
 var x = swapFont(id);
 $(this).fadeOut(900, x);
$(this).fadeOut(900, function() { swapFont(id) });

With these it helps Hi JoeHat I solved it like this (see codepen), works with bootstrap 4 and Jquery 3.4.1. Couldn't get it to work until I used Jquery below. Also added a timer.
Here's [a link] https://codepen.io/pieperrr/pen/PowBjZO
code :
$(window).bind("load", function() {
  setTimeout(function() {
 $('.overlay-loader').fadeOut(function() {
    }, 5000);
