I wish this help you You are sending an invalid URL, because of that error 404 displayed.
In your Axios instance you are setting your base path as
code :
https://api.yelp.com/v3/businesses/search
await yelp.get("/search", {params: {term, limit: 50, location: "karachi"}})
https://api.yelp.com/v3/businesses/search/search?....

I wish this help you Currently, I am having trouble with promises in my 'Javascript' code. It keeps throwing "TypeError: res.status(...).json(...).catch is not a function", and i'm guessing my promises are wrong somewhere along the line of code. , I believe that you've just missed }), the fixed code:
code :
route.post('/login', function(req, res) {
    log.login(req,res).then((post) => {
        res.status(200).json({message: post})
      })
      .catch((error) => {
        res.status(400).json({message: error})
      })
    })
  });

hop of those help? There is nothing wrong in this snippet.
You send a request. You get a 401 - unauthorized response. Catch receives the error and logs it.

Unhandled promise rejection: Error: Request failed with status code 500

To fix the issue you can do You are looking in the wrong place.
An error code 500 is returned by the remote server when it can't handle the request. In this case, I suspect that the POST to ${helper.ROOT_URL}/result/GetListOfKodSesiSem is failing. The axios library is a promise based library. Wrap the call in a try-catch block like this:
code :
try {
  console.log(`${helper.ROOT_URL}/result/GetListOfKodSesiSem`)
  let code_res = await
  axios.post(`${helper.ROOT_URL}/result/GetListOfKodSesiSem`, param)
  console.log(code_res.data);
  if (code_res.data.length > 0) {
    const { code } = code_res.data;
    dispatch({ type: SEMCODE_FETCH_SUCCESS, payload: { semCode: code }});
  }
} catch (err) {
  console.error(`Error received from axios.post: ${JSON.stringify(err)}`);
}
