Javascript function not firering

By : JaneDoe3
Date : July 29 2020, 07:08 AM
will help you The reason why you are not seeing the events is because the event listener is being added to document.body. Since there are no elements in the body, it's height is 0 and the element can't be hovered over or clicked on. If you instead add the event listener to the window the events will fire no matter where the mouse is.
code :
window.addEventListener("mousemove", function() { ... });
window.addEventListener("click", function() { ... });

How do i set slider value without 'update' firering?

To fix the issue you can do If you want to handle updates only when the user dragging the slider but not when the code set an update, you can listen to the slide event.
From the docs:
code :
nouiContrast = document.getElementById('nouiContrast');
noUiSlider.create(nouiContrast, {
  start: 0,
  step: 0.01,
  behaviour: 'tap',
  connect: [true, false],
  range: {
    'min': 0,
    'max': 1
  }
});
nouiContrast.noUiSlider.on('slide', function(values, handle) {
  applyFilterValue(6, 'contrast', values[handle]);
});

//....

nouiContrast.noUiSlider.set(val, false);

Getting currentSelectedGameObject doesn't stop firering

Hope this helps This triggers on all the updates. You can either cancel the selection using es.SetSelectedGameObject(null); or use a flag property e.g. recentlySelected that is set to true only when a game object is selected, and set it to false inside the condition. i.e.
code :
if (buttonPressed != null && recentlySelected)
{
    Debug.Log(buttonPressed.name);
    buttonPressed = null;
    recentlySelected = false;
}
// Also, else is unnecessary.

This might help you You forgot break statement on the case statement. If you did not break, the next case will be executed.
code :
public void keyPressed(KeyEvent e) {
        switch(e.getKeyCode()) {
            case KeyEvent.VK_LEFT: {
                //left
                System.out.println("leftPressed");
                keyLeftPressed = true;
                break;
            }
            case KeyEvent.VK_RIGHT: {
                //right
                System.out.println("rightPressed");
                keyRightPressed = true;
                break;
            }
        }
    }
