Does that help This is an active area of research. There are literally oodles of academic papers on the subject. It's going to be difficult to give you assistance especially w/o more deatails. Are you looking for specific types of text? Fonts? English-only? Are you familiar with the academic literature?
"Text detection" is a standard problem in any OCR (optical character recognition) system and consequently there are lots of bits of code on the interwebs that deal with it.

Locating a template in an image

this will help A bit of link-chasing from the page you cite leads to http://www.cs.cornell.edu/vision/hausdorff/hausmatch.html which has, among other things, some code for what looks like the same problem as you have.
Rucklidge published versions of his algorithm in, e.g., "Efficiently Locating Objects Using the Hausdorff Distance" (International Journal of Computer Vision, vol 24 issue 3, Sept./Oct. 1997) and in a book "Efficient visual recognition using the Hausdorff distance", Springer LNCS no 1173). I haven't read any of this other than the snippets of the book you can get via Google. It sounds as if Rucklidge has effective ways of pruning the search space, ruling out large regions of (position,transformation) by proving that they can't contain a good copy of the thing being searched for.

code :
driver.findElement(By.xpath("//div[. = 'SELECT PRODUCT']"));
driver.findElement(By.xpath("//div[starts-with(., 'SELECT') and contains(., 'PRODUCT')]"));

Hope this helps Flexbox to the rescue. I added a flexbox container around your HTML, implicitly making the children of the container into flex children. Then I use the order property to arrange the children the way you want (image in the middle with text sections flanking it).
code :
.flex-container {
  display: flex;
  margin-top: 30px;
}

#ronimg img {
  width: 100%;
  max-width: 100%;
  height: auto;
}

#ronimg {
  order: 1; /* image in the middle */
}

#ronalfor,
#another {
  border: 5px inset #b1b53e;
  font-style: oblique;
  color: #43acf8;
  flex-basis: 200px; /* sets a minimum width for these elements */
}

#ronalfor {
  order: 0; /* section on the left */
}

#another {
  order: 2; /* section on the right */
}
<div class="flex-container">

  <div id="ronimg">
    <img src="http://placekitten.com/200/200" />
    <br>
    <a href="EXC.html">
      <button class="button" style="vertical-align:middle"><span> GOBACK  </span></button>
    </a>
  </div>

  <div id="ronalfor">
    THIS IS THE FIRST EXAMPLE
  </div>

  <div id="another">
    THIS IS THE SECOND EXAMPLE
  </div>

</div>

I hope this helps . For a computer science class, I'm supposed to write a program that will find the position and the size of an unknown number of aliens in a picture like this one: http://www-bcf.usc.edu/~stejada/csci101/Pix/MARS2.jpg. I currently have the following code: , First off, you should remove the comments from BlobSize() like so:

Locating a group of pixels in an image

This might help you I'm doing some low level image processing project and I need to locate the position of an object. In this case it's a comet. I played a bit with the thresholds and got a pretty much binary image, but what I need next is to locate a fixed point in the middle of the large group of white pixels so it can be traced or something. Any idea on how to do that? Here's a screen shot of what I got. , Maybe you are looking for this -
