hope this fix your issue Oh, in Windows Forms you definitely should be able to get it to work. The only thing you have to watch out for is things happening on different threads.
I have an old Code Project article here which should help:

How does exception dispatching change with an unhandled exception handler?

wish of those help The unhandled exception handlers insert at position 3. The sequence is:
the debugger gets notified of the first chance exception (if attached) an exception handler aka. try/catch is invoked (if available) the unhandled exception handlers (note the plural) are called (if available) the debugger gets notified of the second chance exception (if attached) the system cares about the unhandled exception (typically: terminate the process)
code :
using System;
namespace UnhandledException
    static class Program
        static void Main()
            Console.WriteLine("Please attach the debugger now and press Enter.");
            AppDomain.CurrentDomain.UnhandledException += (sender, e) => Unhandled1();
            AppDomain.CurrentDomain.UnhandledException += (sender, e) => Unhandled2();
                Console.WriteLine("Throwing now.");
                // Will cause a first chance, because in try/catch
                throw new Exception("Any exception will do");
            catch (Exception)
                // Will cause first chance and second chance, because in NOT try/catch
                Console.WriteLine("In catch block.");

        static void Unhandled1() => Console.WriteLine("In unhandled exception handler 1");
        static void Unhandled2() => Console.WriteLine("In unhandled exception handler 2");
sxe clr
g; *** for the breakpoint due to attaching the debugger
g; *** first chance in try/catch
g; *** first chance outside try/catch
g; *** second chance

like below fixes the issue I'm trying to get the sum of all integers in a tree, C++, but whenever I run the program it keeps breaking with this error: , Add check Tree == NULL at beginning
code :
int sigma(Node<int> *Tree)
    int sum = 0;
    if (Tree == NULL || Tree->item == NULL)
        return 0;
        sum = sum + sigma(Tree->left);
        sum = sum + Tree->item;
        sum = sum + sigma(Tree->right);
    return sum;

Unhandled exception event handler not called when exception is thrown from Express routes

around this issue Don't use process.on('uncaughtException', () => {}) to catch errors in express. You can create a custom event handler middleware through something like:
code :
function myCustomErrorHandler(err, req, res, next) {
  if (<check on error>) {
    console.log('Handling exception');
    // TODO: Optionally, return a response back here using "res"

wish helps you I encountered a similar problem myself so I thought I should document it here for others too.
My WPF application runs fine in .net 3.0 / 3.5 or 4.0. However, using a multi-touch screen would cause crashes due to multiple stylus inputs being unhandled:

Hope that helps Answered here: No UnhandledException fired from async event callback
It is a known limitation of WinRT. Hopefully, it gets fixed in the next update.
