around this issue For reference—future Python possibilities:
Starting with Python 2.6 you can express binary literals using the prefix 0b or 0B:
code :
>>> 0b101111
47
>>> bin(173)
'0b10101101'

Concatenate uncommon literals of 2 strings leaving common literals in python

By : Vad Geraed

may help you . I have two strings like I shown below, , You can apply the following approach:
code :
s1 = 'class="input {{#if Required}}required{{/if}}"'
s2 = 'class="input {{#if emailRequired}}required{{/if}}{{#if contactPointRequired}}required{{/if}}"'

# 0. Split strings into meaningful parts
# In this case I am using a crude regex to detect token boundaries
# Remember, this step is optional

import re
pat = re.compile(r'(\=+|\"+| |\{+|\}+)')
a = pat.split(s1)
b = pat.split(s2)

# 1. Create SequenceMatcher

from difflib import SequenceMatcher
matcher = SequenceMatcher(a=a, b=b, autojunk=False)

# 2. Format output
# Here I am using ANSI escape codes to colorize the output

GREEN='\033[92m'
RED='\033[91m'
ENDC='\033[0m'
line = []
for op, ai, aj, bi, bj in matcher.get_opcodes():
    if op == 'equal':
        line.extend(a[ai:aj])
    else:
        if aj > ai:
            line.append(RED)
            line.extend(a[ai:aj])
            line.append(ENDC)
        if bj > bi:
            line.append(GREEN)
            line.extend(b[bi:bj])
            line.append(ENDC)

print(''.join(line))

hop of those help? You represent negative binary literals with a negative sign, like this:

Why would one use binary integer literals instead of integers or floats in python?

wish help you to fix your issue Shouldn't we keep code as simple and easy to understand as possible? What are the advantages of binary over floats and integers in python and is it possible to create floats with binary. Also, when would you use it? , Assuming that you mean:

Is there a name for Python literals? The way JavaScript literals are called JSON?

should help you out JavaScript literals are not called JSON. JSON derived its name and syntax from JavaScript, but they’re not the same thing. Use “Python literals”.

Is there a data type in Java for binary integer literals (that distinguishes decimal from binary)?

Hope that helps Yes. To write a binary literal you write a number zero and then a letter b like
code :
int i = 0b10;
System.out.printf("There are %d kinds of people...%n", i);
