will be helpful for those in need In the _new_func method, the request is currently the first argument args[0].
However, I think it would be easier to read if you changed the signature to:
code :
def _new_func(request, *args, **kwargs):
response = func(request, *args, **kwargs)

I wish this help you ^activity/(?P\d+)/$ will only match something like 'activity/42/' and the number (in this case 42) will be info.
If you appended '##name##' to the url, it will not be recognized.

this will help I think some middleware, that strips the leading api/ from the url should help you:
code :
import re

class URLPrefixMiddleware:
    def process_request(self, request):
        request.path = re.sub('^api/','',request.path)

will be helpful for those in need Quick search for logging in Django source suggests there is no logging of URL hits.
The django.request logger seems to be used only when there are errors (500) or warnings (404, etc).

it helps some times The kwargs argument to url
The extra kwargs argument you provide to the call to url allows you to define extra parameters that are then passed on to the view. They do not define extra arguments that are provided when fetching the url - the call to reverse does not know about these extra arguments, the call to reverse only knows about the arguments defined in the url pattern.
code :
urlpatterns = [
    url(r'^blog/(?P<year>[0-9]{4})/$', myview,
        kwargs={'foo': 'bar'}),
]
import urllib
@csrf_exempt
def search_result(request):
    args = {
        'keyword': request.POST.get('keyword'),
        'selected': request.POST.get('selected')
    }
    url = '%s?%s' % (
        reverse('new_search_result'),
        urllib.urlencode(args)
    )
    return HttpResponseRedirect(url)
def new_search_result(request):
    selected = request.GET.get('selected')
    keyword = request.GET.get('keyword')
    # ...
