How can I find Python Built-in functions?

it fixes the issue Python is not object oriented based,it can also be functional.However if you want to look for the functions and their methods you can type in the interpreter
code :
>>>dir(__builtins__)
>>>help('module')
>>help(function-name)

I wish this helpful for you No, you'll have to cast the output of filter() or map() back to MyList. These functions are documented to produce a list, (almost) always. They do so if you pass other types of sequences as well.
Quoting from the map() documentation:

hop of those help? OpenCV does normalized cross-correlations using the function matchTemplate, with, eg, CV_TM_CCORR_NORMED.
@Jonas suggested the following code to use this and compare the different methods
code :
img = cv2.imread(path1)
template = cv2.imread(path2)
methods = ['cv2.TM_CCOEFF', 'cv2.TM_CCOEFF_NORMED', 'cv2.TM_CCORR','cv2.TM_CCORR_NORMED',     'cv2.TM_SQDIFF', 'cv2.TM_SQDIFF_NORMED']
for i in range(len(methods)):
    result[i] = cv2.matchTemplate(img,template,methods[i])
    print ("Method {}  : Result{}") .format(method[i],result[i])

it helps some times You should be appending, you cannot index an empty list so s[i] will fail straight away with s[0] as the list is empty:
code :
s = []
for i in range(10):
   s.append(int(input('enter integers from 1 to 10\n')))

mini,maxi = 0, 11
for temp in s:
    if temp < mini:
        mini = temp
    if temp > maxi:
        maxi = temp
print('minimum : '+str(mini))
print('maximum :'+str(maxi))
s = [int(input('enter integers from 1 to 10\n')) for _ in range(10)]

hope this fix your issue I'm trying to find if there is a duplicate within a list without using the in-built functions. So far I have something like this however it does not seem to be working. Can anyone help? Give pointers? Improvements? I'd appreciate it. (Python version 2.7.10) , Something like this?
code :
def DupSearch(list):
    for i in range(len(list)):
        for j in range(i+1, len(list)):
            if list[i]==list[j]:
                print "Duplicate found"
                return
    print "No duplicated"
