Hope this helps In order to achieve this scenario you can use our IsFirst operator over a 1 hour period. That will ensure that only the first event in a 1 hour window will trigger a notification.

Azure Stream Analytics Event Hub No Events

Azure Stream Analytics Event Hub No Events

To fix this issue The Partition Key changed multiple times during development, which seems to have disrupted the mapping between Stream Analytics job and downstream Event Hub Partitions, resulting in message-loss.
Deleting and re-creating both up and downstream Event Hubs, and resetting the associated Stream Analytics input and outputs, re-calibrated the Partition-mappings and resolved the issue.

To fix this issue Asa supports gzip and deflate compression. Every eventhub message can be up to 256 kb including metadata. On processing side, every message has some overhead. So, for same number of records, smaller number of eventhub messages is better. However, this usually means some buffering on the send side. Based on your overall latency requirements and memory footprint requirements on sender, you should batch multiple records into every eventhub message, with compression.

wish helps you I hope my question was not confusing, I was searching for a solution to send the digital input (DI_1) from an datalogger only when the value has changed. Reason therefore is to calculate a time difference in PowerBI.
In the meantime I found a solution:
code :
SELECT
   PE, UID, TIM,
   GetArrayElement(GetArrayElement(Record,0), 3) AS DI_1
INTO
   [toPowerBI]
FROM
   [IoTHub]
WHERE
   LAG(GetArrayElement(GetArrayElement(Record,0), 3), 1)
   OVER (LIMIT DURATION(minute, 10)) <>
   GetArrayElement(GetArrayElement(Record,0), 3)

will be helpful for those in need You can use Azure SDK for Node.js to manage Azure resources.
This is an example retrive information about an existing event hub. And here is the Azure Node SDK reference.
code :
const msRestAzure = require('ms-rest-azure');
const EventHubManagement = require('azure-arm-eventhub');

const resourceGroupName = 'testRG';
const namespaceName = 'testNS';
const eventHubName = 'testEH';
const subscriptionId = 'your-subscription-id';

msRestAzure
  .interactiveLogin()
  .then(credentials => {
    const client = new EventHubManagement(credentials, subscriptionId);
    return client.eventHubs.get(resourceGroupName, namespaceName, eventHubName);
  })
  .then(zones => console.dir(zones, { depth: null, colors: true }))
  .catch(err => console.log(err));

hope this fix your issue Try the following query(please adjust your time window, as I changed it for the testing purpose):
code :
WITH combined AS (
    SELECT a.deviceId, temperature, 'a' as source, a.deviceTime FROM [input] a timestamp by a.devicetime
    UNION
    SELECT b.deviceId, temperature, 'b' as source, b.deviceTime  FROM [input1] b timestamp by b.devicetime
),
    result AS (
    SELECT c.deviceId, system.Timestamp as 'windowend', avg(c.temperature) as 'avg_temperature', topone() over (order by deviceTime desc)
    FROM combined c
    GROUP BY c.deviceId, TumblingWindow(Duration(minute, 1), Offset(second, 1))
)

select result.topone.source, result. *
into output
from result
