How to pass calculation form Button command to Entry field?

Any of those help you've done very well and are very close. It is often better to use a simple function (see foo() in my example) to manipulate entry boxes etc..
The entry3.delete(0, END) will ensure that the entry is clear (try it without this line and see what happens!)
code :
from tkinter import *
import calculations

def foo():
    x = addvalues(a=value_a.get(), b=value_b.get())
    entry3.delete(0, END)
    entry3.insert(END, x)

root = Tk()

mainapp = Frame(root)

label1 = Label(mainapp, text="Value A")
label1.grid(row=0, column=0)
value_a = IntVar()
entry1 = Entry(mainapp, textvariable=value_a)
entry1.grid(row=0, column=1)

label2 = Label(mainapp, text="Value B")
label2.grid(row=1, column=0)
value_b = IntVar()
entry2 = Entry(mainapp, textvariable=value_b)
entry2.grid(row=1, column=1)

button = Button(mainapp, text="Calculate",
button.grid(row=2, columnspan=2)

label3 = Label(mainapp, text="A+B")
label3.grid(row=3, column=0)
value_c = IntVar()
entry3 = Entry(mainapp, textvariable=value_c)
entry3.grid(row=3, column=1)

Pass a field calculation in html to another field in the SAME form

it should still fix some issue So, I can only find how to pass the information to another page not the same page and this has to be done entirely on the client side, no server side work as there will be no internet connection when this is used, hence the mailto for the form data so it can be sent when a connection is available. , First of all, no idea what these are for:
code :
var time1 = document.getElementById('time1');
var time2 = document.getElementById('time1');
var time3 = document.getElementById('time1');
var time4 = document.getElementById('time1');
var time5 = document.getElementById('time1');
var time6 = document.getElementById('time1');
var time7 = document.getElementById('time1');
var time8 = document.getElementById('time1');
var build_costval = parseInt(build_cost.value) || 0;
var buy_costval = parseInt(buy_cost.value) || 0;
var build_hoursval = parseInt(build_hours.value) || 0;
var build_trainval = parseInt(build_train.value) || 0;
var build_totalval = parseInt(build_total.value) || 0;
var buy_totalval = parseInt(buy_total.value) || 0;
var designhoursval = parseInt(designhours.value) || 0;
designhoursval = parseInt(designhours.value) || 0;
build_cost.value = (wageval * designhoursval);

Hope this helps Not sure how well I followed the description, but it seems you might take advantage of the OpenArgs parameter with OpenForm. (Your existing code uses the WhereCondition parameter, but that is meaningless for an unbound form.)
OpenArgs is the seventh parameter to OpenForm. If I counted commas correctly, this could work:
code :
DoCmd.OpenForm "Add Item to RMA", , , , , , Me!RMANbr
DoCmd.OpenForm "Add Item to RMA", OpenArgs:=Me!RMANbr
Private Sub Form_Load()
    DoCmd.GoToRecord acDataForm, , acNewRec
    If Not IsNull(Me.OpenArgs) Then
        Me.txtRMANbr = Me.OpenArgs
    End If
End Sub

Does that help I would like to write a greasemonkey script that make a button inside of a text entry form on some websites, so that the text entry forms would look something like this: , Okay, let's start with jQuery, since it's more concise.
code :
$('form').each(function () {
    $(this).find('input').filter(':text').each(function () {
        $(this).after($('<button>').text('My Button'));
var forms = document.getElementsByTagName('form');
for (var i = 0; i < forms.length; i++) {
    var form = forms[i];
    var inputs = form.querySelectorAll("input[type=text]");
    for (var j = 0; j < inputs.length; j++) {
        var input = inputs[j];
        var button = document.createElement('button');
        button.innerText = 'My Button';
        input.parentNode.insertBefore(button, input.nextSibling);

I think the issue was by ths following , There were a few things wrong with your code.
type="button" should be type="submit" and naming the submit button, while adding to the conditional statement, it's best.
code :
$fp = fopen('suggestedterms.txt', 'a+');
$term = mysql_real_escape_string(sanitizeString($_POST['term']));

//other code for when result is found.
//if no result found:

<form name="suggestit" action="" method="post" >
    <input type="hidden" name="tb1" default="<?php echo $term; ?>" /><p>
    <input type="submit" name="submit" class="styled-button-11" id="bt1" value="Suggest It!" /></p>

 if (isset($_POST['tb1']) && isset($_POST['submit'])) {
    echo writetermstofile($term);
function writetermstofile ($term) {

$fp = fopen('suggestedterms.txt', 'w'); // to append use 'a' or 'a+'
fwrite($fp, $term . "\n");
ini_set('display_errors', 1);

// rest of your code

fixed the issue. Will look into that further Some suggestions to consider. In your popup set a dynamic property, call it 'CreateDatasource' or whatever suits your needs.
In your assets page form where you navigate to your popup (lets say it's a button that opens the popup from your form) put the following code:
code :
var popup = app.popups.YourPopup;
popup.properties.CreateDatasource = widget.datasource;
popup.visible = true;
widget.root.properties.CreateDatasource.item.Location = widget.datasource.item; //this would set the relation only assuming your asset relation end to locations is named 'Location'
widget.root.visible = false;
