should help you out At for item in wachtwoord: you are iterating over each character in the string, which seems to be unintended. It dosen't seem like you use item anywhere inside the for loop, so it just repeats the process the same way for each character. Try removing that line

hope this fix your issue A quick Google indicates that it's not really supported. There's more than a few folks out there trying to hack their way to it - but I'd strongly suggest just rendering a server side PDF instead.

I hope this helps . If your files are in Unicode format, your expression will not match, because the characters in the file occupy 2 bytes instead of just one. Such a file would look like this
code :
FF FE 66 00 6F 00 6F 00    ÿþf.o.o.
66 6F 6F                   foo

it helps some times In your code quoted below, if x != arr[0], the if condition will be false in the first turn of for loop, thus directly go to else part, which means printing "Not found" and break.
code :
for (int i = 0; i < 7; i++)
{
    if (x == arr[i])
        cout << i << endl;

    else {
        cout <<"Not found";
    break;
    }
}
bool found = false;
for (int i = 0; i < 7; i++)
{
    if (x == arr[i]) {
        cout << i << endl;
        found = true;
    }
}

if ( !found ) {
    cout <<"Not found";
}
