Copy Files Not Directory Structure

This might help you I'm trying to copy all of the files with .py extension from one directory to a new one using PowerShell, but I don't want to recreate the directory structure. I want this to work recursively as the the py files are in numerous subfolders. In my destination directory, I want nothing but the py files. , How about:
code :
Get-ChildItem "C:\Johns Stuff\Python" -File -Filter *.py -Recurse | ForEach-Object {
  Copy-Item $_.FullName C:\Users\dread\python -WhatIf
}

fixed the issue. Will look into that further You don't mention if it has to be batch only, but if you can use ROBOCOPY, try this:
code :
ROBOCOPY C:\Source C:\Destination data.zip info.txt /E

it should still fix some issue You can add a Post Build Event to copy the files.
Go to project properties, Build Events tab and add the following to the Post-build event command line:
code :
copy "$(ProjectDir)\common\browserhawk\*.*" "$(TargetDir)"

With these it helps There is an option in the xcopy command that creates the directory tree.
code :
  /T Creates directory structure, but does not copy files. Does not
               include empty directories or subdirectories. /T /E includes
               empty directories and subdirectories.

I hope this helps you . Use shutil.copytree to copy the entire directory to a new location.
code :
import shutil

src = "Folder1/Folder2/file1"
dst = "Folder3"+src
dstfolder = os.path.dirname(dst)
shutil.copytree(src,dstfolder)
