this will help First, let's simplify the awk command a little, before worrying about how to pass it through ssh.
code :
awk_script='
  ifc ~ $1 {
     i++;
     rx[i]=$2;
     tx[i]=$10
    };
  END {
     print rx[2]-rx[1] " " tx[2] - tx[1]
  }
'
awk -v ifc="$IFACE" "$awk_script" <(cat /proc/dev/net; sleep 1; cat /proc/dev/net)
IFLOAD=$(ssh root@$REMOTE_HOST "awk -v ifc='$IFACE' '$awk_script' <(cat /proc/dev/net; sleep 1; cat /proc/dev/net)")

To fix the issue you can do You will need to escape the quotes, possibly twice, since each invocation of ssh will involve stripping a layer off. Put escaped single quotes round the entire command, and then nested unescaped single quotes round the inner command:
code :
ssh <user1>@<ip1>  \'ssh <user2>@<ip2> '/opt/user/bin -f /opt/user/slap.conf -l /home/admin/`date +%Y%m%d`_Export_file$nr.gz -s "ou=multi" -a "(& (entry=$nr)(serv=PS))" -o wrap=no'\'

Does that help I have a bunch of php files, which have many insert commands. , I have solved it by using the following command
code :
sed -e "s/\(query.*insert.*select.*where\)/& admin_id='\$admin_id' and /g"               -e t \
    -e "s/\(query.*insert.*select.*\)\")/\1  where admin_id='\$admin_id\")'/g"           -e t \
    -e "s/\(query.*insert.*\)(\(.*\)values (/\1(admin_id, \2values ('\$admin_id', /g"    -e t \
    -e "s/\(query.*insert.*(\)/& admin_id, /g"  \
    -i *.php

Hope that helps Assuming the random text won't ever match ,0,'here/there/is/always/this/path', then it is doable:
code :
sed "s%\\(,[1-9][0-9]*,'\\)\\(here/there/is/always/this/path',\\)%\\1newpart/\\2%" …
s%\(,[1-9][0-9]*,'\)\(here/there/is/always/this/path',\)%\1newpart/\2%
sed -f script.sed …

around this issue You can use a searched CASE like this:
code :
case
  when (KVIZ_PITANJA.ODGOVOR1_TACAN = 1 and KVIZ_ISTORIJA.ODGOVORENO1 = 1) then 1
  when (KVIZ_PITANJA.ODGOVOR2_TACAN = 1 and KVIZ_ISTORIJA.ODGOVORENO2 = 1) then 1
  when (KVIZ_PITANJA.ODGOVOR3_TACAN = 1 and KVIZ_ISTORIJA.ODGOVORENO3 = 1) then 1
  when (KVIZ_PITANJA.ODGOVOR4_TACAN = 1 and KVIZ_ISTORIJA.ODGOVORENO4 = 1) then 1
  when (KVIZ_PITANJA.ODGOVOR5_TACAN = 1 and KVIZ_ISTORIJA.ODGOVORENO5 = 1) then 1
  else -1
end
case
  when (KVIZ_PITANJA.ODGOVOR1_TACAN = 1 and KVIZ_ISTORIJA.ODGOVORENO1 = 1)
    or (KVIZ_PITANJA.ODGOVOR2_TACAN = 1 and KVIZ_ISTORIJA.ODGOVORENO2 = 1)
    or (KVIZ_PITANJA.ODGOVOR3_TACAN = 1 and KVIZ_ISTORIJA.ODGOVORENO3 = 1)
    or (KVIZ_PITANJA.ODGOVOR4_TACAN = 1 and KVIZ_ISTORIJA.ODGOVORENO4 = 1)
    or (KVIZ_PITANJA.ODGOVOR5_TACAN = 1 and KVIZ_ISTORIJA.ODGOVORENO5 = 1) then 1
  else -1

I wish did fix the issue. I have .csv file with thousands of lines. Some of these lines contain ABC, some contains XYZ, and some contain something else (of which I am not sure). Is there any way to find lines that do not contain ABC or XYZ and identify them through the unix? , There is nothing "complex" about this.
