like below fixes the issue Make sure that /config/server.json is exposed by server and valid address. You can try it by adding to browser. It should show entire file content. Next step, check browser console for errors..
Check this
code :
$(document).ready(function() {
  $.getJSON('config/server.json', loadCustomers);
});

function loadCustomers(configFile) {
  $.ajax({
    type : 'GET',
    url : configFile.server+':8080/cache/getCustomers',
 });
}

Any of those help As far as I know for now the customized configuration section is not support. But maybe you can serialize your configuration into one CSCFG setting and deserialize it in your code.

To fix the issue you can do You can't. The server decides how it responds. You'll just have to deal with the returned data and ignore anything you don't need.
If you are also developing the server side application, then you can modify it to detect for example query parameters and react to those. Or use a different URL for getting only the UserName array.
code :
function loadUsers() {
   return $.ajax({
       url: "/users/example.json",
       dataType: "json"
   });
}

function renderUser(user) {
    $("#ageID").text(user.Age);
    $("#dogsID").text(user.Dogs);
    // And so on with the others fields
}

function loadAndRender() {
    loadUsers().done(function(users) {
        renderUser(users.User1);
        renderUser(users.User2);
        // or loop over all of them, or have the required names as arguments in loadAndRender, etc
    });
}

I hope this helps . Your test works because the configuration file is in the current directory, because you're running your main module from the directory of the configuration file.
But if you're using another main file located somewhere else, that could fail.
code :
conf_file = os.path.join(os.path.dirname(os.path.dirname(__file__)),'setting.conf')

I hope this helps you . Class libraries do not have configuration files - applications do.
One reason is that class libraries cannot be directly executed - they can only be run in the context of an application.

wish of those help You are confusing server side with client side.
The page is processed on the server and <% ... %> stuff is replaced with the result of computation serv side, then the generated page is sent to the client.
