I think the issue was by ths following , You can't really customize SNS messages. The typical way to accomplish this is to have SNS trigger a Lambda function instead of sending an email, then the Lambda function can construct the email exactly how you want and send it via SES.

hope this fix your issue When you are using "64bit Amazon Linux 2015.03 v2.0.0 running Docker 1.6.2", you have the option of opting into "Enhanced" application health monitoring. Enhanced health monitoring is explained in this blog post and in the documentation. With enhanced health monitoring you get a list of causes explaining "Why" the health is what it is. You need to remember to select "Enhanced" in the console when launching an environment as shown here. With 2.0 solution stacks you can also switch from "basic" mode to "enhanced" mode using the console without launching a new environment.
Also with Elastic Beanstalk now you can pass a ServiceRole with elastic beanstalk environments. If you are using a Service Role then be sure to check that you are using the Service role with right permissions. Read about service roles here.

help you fix your problem EB can be fairly tough to trouble shoot when you have full access to EB, the instances, the ELB's, etc... never mind trying to proxy this through SO.
I'd do the following:

wish helps you As far as I know, 502 Bad Gateway error can be mitigated only by manually checking the major links you have on your websites and if they are accessible through a simple GET request.
In case of my website, I had some issue with the login page and an about page, (and it was about 33% of my website sadly) which is why after uploading to EC2 i got a 5xx error on health check. I solved the problem by simply making the links work on the server (there were some functionalities which were only running on localhost and not on AWS so I fixed that and got OK status in Health Check)

To fix this issue After more research I found out you can hit /wp-load.php this will run the wordpress engine and make sure everything is working properly but it will not return a 302 redirect

To fix the issue you can do If the ELB health check is sending its request with a host header containing the elastic beanstalk domain (*.elasticbeanstalk.com, or an EC2 domain *.amazonaws.com) then the standard ALLOWED_HOSTS can still be used with a wildcard entry of '.amazonaws.com' or '.elasticbeanstalk.com'.
In my case I received standard ipv4 addresses as the health check hosts, so a different solution was needed. If you can't predict the host at all, and it might be safer to assume you can't, you would need to take a route such as one of the following.
