it fixes the issue , Change to:
code :
public static void main(String[] args) throws FileNotFoundException{
    File cardNumbers = new File("creditcardnumbers.txt");
    Scanner cardNumbersInput = new Scanner(cardNumbers);

    while(cardNumbersInput.hasNextLine()) {
        String cardNumber = cardNumbersInput.nextLine();
        System.out.println(cardNumber);
    }

    cardNumbersInput.close();
}

around this issue Arrays.copyOf is invoked each time the ByteArrayOutputStream's internal array needs resizing. This is the moment of the highest memory demand. You can avoid array resizing by specifying the initial size of the array equal to the file size.

Does that help You can use PriorityQueue as i have implimented that in simple way hope this solves your problem
code :
public class Test
{
    public static void main(String[] args)
    {
        Comparator<String> comparator = new StringLengthComparator();
        PriorityQueue<String> queue =
            new PriorityQueue<String>(10, comparator);
        queue.add("file3");
        queue.add("file1");
        queue.add("file2");
        while (queue.size() != 0)
        {
            System.out.println(queue.remove());
        }
    }
}
import java.util.Comparator;

    public class StringLengthComparator implements Comparator<String> {
        @Override
        public int compare(String x, String y) {
            if (x.equalsIgnoreCase("file3")) {
                return -1;
            }
            if (x.equalsIgnoreCase("file1")) {
                return 1;
            }
            return 0;
        }
    }
file3
file2

hop of those help? I'm trying to read files from a folder and its subfolders but after reading certain files, it throws , There are a couple of possible reasons for the problem:
code :
request.add(new Config().client()
                        .prepareIndex("recipe_json", "default")
                        .setSource(yourHashMap1));

To fix the issue you can do You keep adding to the same s1 and s2, which means after the first couple of files you'll always have the previous files' contents in there. You'd probably want to clear them when you open the files.
Also, you should probably move the reading of f in the outer loop. There's no point reading it every time.
