Does that help I think you're after the Least Common Multiple. There are a few ways to calculate this, but to start you off you can look at the numbers package
code :
library(numbers)

mLCM(1:20)
# [1] 232792560

wish helps you Since you get multiple hits on multiple words, you can use the selected ID's as a filter for the actual selection of the articles:
code :
Select TOP 5 *
from NewsArticles
where ID in (SELECT ID
    FROM NewsArticles as n
    JOIN #SearchItem as s
    ON n.headline COLLATE DATABASE_DEFAULT LIKE '% ' + s.Search + ' %' OR
       n.body COLLATE DATABASE_DEFAULT LIKE '% ' + s.Search + ' %'
)
ORDER BY publishDate DESC

I hope this helps you . You may enumerate array elements and extract their indexes if the condition holds:
code :
min_value = min(distance)
[i for i,n in enumerate(distance) if n==min_value]
#[0,2]

wish helps you i have a collection of working codes, that removes words from a word table, and reformats the size of the table. I know i'm repeating, in the code, so i'd like to make this more streamlined, and in the hope that by doing this, the code will become a little quicker to run. , Your code can be re-written as follows...
code :
Option Explicit

Sub alterRota()

    Dim searchFor As Variant
    searchFor = Array("Manager", "Bar", "Kitchen", . . . ) 'add your other words accordingly

    Dim i As Long
    With Selection.Find
        .ClearFormatting
        .Replacement.ClearFormatting
        .Forward = True
        .Wrap = wdFindContinue
        .Format = False
        .MatchCase = False
        .MatchWholeWord = False
        .MatchWildcards = False
        .MatchSoundsLike = False
        .MatchAllWordForms = False
        For i = LBound(searchFor) To UBound(searchFor)
            .Text = searchFor(i)
            .Replacement.Text = ""
            .Execute Replace:=wdReplaceAll
        Next i
    End With

    Dim tr As Row
    For Each tr In ActiveDocument.Tables(1).Rows
        tr.HeightRule = wdRowHeightExactly
        tr.Height = 9
    Next tr

End Sub

it fixes the issue Note that the built-in method for replacing characters within a string, str.replace, takes a third argument; count. You can use this to your advantage, replacing only the first appearance of each letter (obviously once you replace the first 'E', the second one will become the first appearance, and so on):

wish helps you Let's iterate through the input array A and on every iteration maintain sorted array smallest containing 7 smallest elements so far:
code :
smallest = [INF, INF, INF, INF, INF, INF, INF]
for each Number in A
    find the insert position of the Number (if any) in the smallest array with binary
        search (3 comparisons)
    insert to the smallest if needed (0 comparisons)
