To fix the issue you can do I have a table on BigQuery with one of the columns being "timestamp". This column is of datatype INT64. I want to add a new column based on that column with the exact dates. , You can do:
code :
select timestamp_add(timestamp('2011-05-01T19:00:00', 'America/New_York'), interval 2506199602819 - 600 microsecond)

wish helps you That's the expected behavior.
UNIX timestamp is the number of seconds since Jan 1 1970 (not considering leap seconds). For dates before that, it will return a negative number.
code :
<?php
    $then = new DateTime("1969-01-02");
    $now = new DateTime('now');
    $age = $then->diff($now);
    echo $age->format('%Y years, %m months,%d days');
?>
<?php
    $then = strtotime("1969-01-02");
    $now = strtotime('now');

    $age=$now-$then;
    // Above is your final time stamp, created by the difference of two dates

    $diff = abs($age);
    $years = floor($diff / (365*60*60*24));
    $months = floor(($diff - $years * 365*60*60*24) / (30*60*60*24));
    $days = floor(($diff - $years * 365*60*60*24 - $months*30*60*60*24)/ (60*60*24));
    printf("%d years, %d months, %d days\n", $years, $months, $days);
    // Outputs-> 44 years, 8 months, 4 days
?>

help you fix your problem You are using date() to try to convert a string into a date, when date only accepts a full timestamp.
code :
date(format,timestamp);
$time = strtotime($row[11]);
$newformat = date('Y-m-d',$time);
$timestamp = $time->getTimestamp(); // Unix timestamp

Any of those help You may use the DATETIME function to convert your table's milliseconds since epoch to an ISO datetime. Then, just compare that against the date literal you want:
code :
SELECT *
FROM Contract.ExerciseEntry.CALENDAR
WHERE
    DATETIME(ROUND(calendar / 1000), 'unixepoch') >= '2020-01-08' AND
    DATETIME(ROUND(calendar / 1000), 'unixepoch') <  '2020-01-09'
ORDER BY
    calendar;

To fix the issue you can do It's not rounding the date, it's adjusting it to your time zone before extracting the date.
See the result when you submit

help you fix your problem JSON doesn't support Date objects it only supports Number, String, Boolean, and Array of those items.
So you will have to either do it as a formatted String already in the format you require or do it as a timestamp Number and then format through some type of library.
