I wish did fix the issue. I am trying to create a regular expression that will include the the text in the HTML but not the the web address. , This expression should do what you want
code :

<a.*?>(.*?)

<a.*?>
(.*?)

With these it helps If you want a regex that matches whatever.mysite.com where whatever is any possible hostname, but you want the regex not to match ignore.mysite.com, then try this:
code :
^(?!ignore)[a-z0-9-]+\.mysite\.com

should help you out The "problem" here is that rather specific behavior of re.findall
code :
>>> re.findall("(?:ABC)+\d+", s)
['ABCABC12345']
>>> [m.group(0) for m in re.finditer("(ABC)+\d+", s)]
['ABCABC12345']
>>> re.search("(ABC)+\d+", s).group()
'ABCABC12345'

Hope that helps I'm trying to append something to the query string to various assets hosted on filepicker which serves from a few specific domains, some of which already contain a query string. All other URLs should be left untouched. , This will match what you want:
code :
/(https?://www\.(?:filepicker\.io/|filestack\.com/)api/file/[\w+?&=/]+)/
