I think the issue was by ths following , I have found the problem & corrected it. It had to do with the "span..." tags. I replaced the inline "style=..." with a class. I set the the color within the class then removed settings with an "class: after" section.

Switch statement inside a foreach loop - not getting expected results

Switch statement inside a foreach loop - not getting expected results

I hope this helps . So I am trying to loop though items that are in a listbox in my application. The list box will allow you to select multiple items to which I have a method tied to each item in the listbox. I have a counter variable incremented each time the loop works.When I use the foreach loop with the switch statement below, it does the first item correct, but then loops through the same item again. I know I am missing something as it is supposed to go to the next item in the listbox and not the same item.
code :
foreach(string item in listBox.Items)
{
}
List<string> list = SomeMethodWhereIMakeTheList();
listbox.DataSource = list;
list.ForEach(...)

this will help A switch statement inside of a switch statement is perfectly legal. There's nothing inherently wrong with it, though it may be difficult to follow if there are many cases in either statement. One solution is to make the inner switch statement into a separate function or method. For example, if you have this:
code :
switch (a)
{
    case foo:
        switch (b)
        {
            case bar:
                doSomething();
            break;

            case bas:
                doSomethingElse();
            break;
        }
        break;
    case foo2:
        ...whatever
}
void handleFoo (int x)
{
    switch (x)
    {
        case bar:
            doSomething();
        break;

        case bas:
            doSomethingElse();
        break;
    }
}

...
main ()
{
    ...
    switch (a)
    {
        case foo:
            handleFoo(b);
        break;
        case foo2:
           ...whatever;
        break;
    }
}

will help you You can set the value of view when button is clicked. I would advise you to use item.view instead of view, it will prevent view of other elements to be toggled.
code :
<article ng-repeat="item in items" class="items">
    <div ng-init="viewDefaultValue = item.view;" ng-switch on="item.view">
        <div ng-switch-default>
            <p>Default State for {{item}}</p>
            <div class="btn" ng-click="item.view = 'info';">More Info</div>
        </div>
        <div ng-switch-when="info">
            <p>Info for {{item}}</p>
            <div class="btn" ng-click="item.view = viewDefaultValue;">Go back</div>
        </div>
    </div>
</article>
(function() {
  angular
    .module('myApp', [])
    .controller('myController', function($scope) {
      $scope.items = [{
        view: '',
        text: 'item1'
      }, {
        view: '',
        text: 'item2'

      }]
    });
})();
<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/angularjs/1.2.23/angular.min.js"></script>
<div ng-app="myApp" ng-controller="myController">

  <div ng-repeat="item in items" class="items">
    <div ng-init="viewDefaultValue = item.view;" ng-switch on="item.view">
      <div ng-switch-default>
        <p>Default State for {{item.text}}</p>
        <div class="btn" ng-click="item.view = 'info';">More Info
        </div>
      </div>
      <div ng-switch-when="info">
        <p>Info for {{item.text}}</p>
        <div class="btn" ng-click="item.view = viewDefaultValue;">Go back</div>
      </div>
    </div>

it fixes the issue You can't use string literals as the values in case labels. That's what MSVC is telling you when you try to use "NAASA".
Why do the others work? Because they aren't string literals. They are character constants (not strings!), with implementation defined meaning.
code :
struct {
  char const * str;
  int          num;
} branch[] = {
  { "O",     0 },
  { "BCFS",  1 },
  { "NAASA", 2 },
  // etc
}

int num = -1;
for (int i = 0; i < sizeof(branch)/sizeof(branch[0]); ++i)
  if (strcmp(input, branch[i].str) == 0) {
    num = branch[i].num; break;
  }

switch(num) {
default:
  perror("not at a valid option");
  break;
case 0:
  // other things
case 1:
}
if(strcmp(input, "O") == 0) {

} else if(strcmp(input, "BCFS") == 0) {

} else if(/*etc*/) {

}

will help you I have a method that calculates a new score. The method below works, but the problem is the code itself looks like it can be cleaned up significantly. I just don't what would be the best way to do it. I assign scoreCountan integer depending on filterString and the enum individualScoreState , You could do something like this:
code :
let notB = filterString != "ScoreB" ? 1 : 0
let notA = filterString != "ScoreA" ? 1 : 0

switch individualScoreState {
case .firstScore:
    scoreCount = notB * results.firstScoreACount + notA * results.firstScoreBCount
case .secondScore:
    scoreCount = notB * results.secondScoreACount + notA * results.secondScoreBCount
default:
    scoreCount = notB * results.scoreACount + notA * results.scoreBCount
}
