wish helps you DBIDs are internal; the documentation clearly says that you shouldn't make too much assumptions on them because their implementation may change. The only reason they are written to the output at all is because some methods (such as OPTICS) may require cross-referencing objects by this unique ID.
Because they are meant to be unique identifiers, they are usually continuously incremented. The next time you click on "run" in the MiniGUI, you will get the next n IDs... so clearly, you clicked run more than once.

like below fixes the issue The ELKI command line (and MiniGui; which is a command line builder) allow to specify shorthand class names, leaving out the package prefix of the implemented interface.
The full command line documentation yields:
code :
-db.index <object_1|class_1,...,object_n|class_n>
    Database indexes to add.
    Implementing de.lmu.ifi.dbs.elki.index.IndexFactory
    Known classes (default package de.lmu.ifi.dbs.elki.index.):
    -> tree.spatial.rstarvariants.rstar.RStarTreeFactory
    -> ...
// Bulk loading static data yields much better trees and is much faster, too.
// Page size should fit your dimensionality.
// For 2-dimensional data, use page sizes less than 1000.
// Rule of thumb: 15...20 * (dim * 8 + 4) is usually reasonable
// (for in-memory bulk-loaded trees)
params.addParameter(AbstractPageFileFactory.Parameterizer.PAGE_SIZE_ID, 300);

Any of those help The OPTICS class does not (by design) produce clusters.
Instead, it produces the cluster order as defined by OPTICS.

Hope that helps To instantiate a class via the parameterization API, you don't need to create a new parameter.
code :
RStarTreeFactory<DoubleVector> f =
  ClassGenericsUtil.parameterizeOrAbort(RStarTreeFactory.class, params);

I think the issue was by ths following , The disk deserialization code has been unused for years, and thus is likely broken.
I am even not sure if it ever fully supported reading back the index from disk standalone; I assume it was only implemented to simulate an on-disk index for benchmarking purposes (i.e., it will read and write the data from disk, but it probably cannot read an existing index).

this will help Pass cli as first command line parameter to launche the CLI, or minigui to launch the MiniGUI. The following are equivalent:
