To fix the issue you can do I figured out the solution myself. I need to add {stdio: 'inherit'} option while spawning the child process. Here's the final code:
code :
/**
* app.js
* make sure to install express (npm install express)
* and place the executable beside this file
* or set executablePath to the correct path.
* run the app and open 'localhost:3000/?vid=<path to video file>&tstamp=<timestamp in HH:MM:SS format>' in your browser.
*/

var child_process = require('child_process');
var path = require('path');
var express = require('express');
var app = express();
var fs = require('fs');

var executable = null;

app.get('/', function (req, res) {

if (executable !== null) {
res.end('executable is already running.');
return;
}

var video = req.param('vid');
var timestamp = req.param('tstamp');

var executablePath = path.join(__dirname, './executable2');

executable = child_process.spawn(executablePath, [video, timestamp], {stdio: 'inherit'});

executable.on('exit', function (signal, code) {
console.log('executable exited with signal: %s and code: %d', signal, code);
executable = null;
});

res.end('Done.');
});

app.listen(3000);
console.log('Listening on port 3000');
$ nodemon app.js
localhost:3000/?vid=<path to video file>&tstamp=<timestamp in HH:MM:SS format>

Hope that helps You need to use the express plugin body-parser to access the POST data.
You can find more info how to do it here: How to retrieve POST query parameters?

I hope this helps . If you don't return Promise from then, the Promise will return undefined. And to resolve a promise with success you need to return Promise.resolve and to terminate with error you need to return Promise.reject. Try this -
code :
const promise = auth.signInWithEmailAndPassword(email, pass).then(function(){
    $('.load-bar').hide();
    return firebase.auth().currentUser.getIdToken(/* forceRefresh */ true).then(function(idToken) {
        // Send token to your backend via HTTPS
        console.log(data);
        $http.get('server', {params: {idToken: idToken}})
            .success(
                function(success){
                    return Promise.resolve(success);
                })
            .error(
                function(error){
                    return Promise.reject(error);
                });
    }).catch(function(error) {
      return Promise.reject(error);
    });
});

this will help LUIS has Bing Spell-check built-in.
You can enable it in the LUIS dashboard by going to:
code :
{
  "query": "seatle",
  "alteredQuery": "seattle",
  "topScoringIntent": {
    "intent": "Help",
    "score": 0.340962738

      "score": 0.274775743
    },
    {
      "intent": "None",
      "score": 0.03235885
    },
    {
      "intent": "ShowHotelsReviews",
      "score": 0.00128200091
    }
  ],

Hope that helps Okay, so assuming you'll always have an object with 1 key in req.body. Like:
req.body = {"QRIDNumber7777": {...}}
