Event call at the end of HTTP call

Event call at the end of HTTP call

I wish did fix the issue. The .subscribe method is an observable's way to trigger the operation and listen to its events and completion.
code :
this.http.get(url, config).pipe(
    map(response => {
        this.options = response;
    }),
).subscribe(() => console.log('Got data here, you know that the request is done'));

Call another http api (without Intercepting) before actual http call is made in Angular's HttpInterceptor

I hope this helps . Updated: Added a working plunkr. https://plnkr.co/edit/WFecj8fFZ6z4G6mpLSCr?p=preview
Take note of the sequence that the calls are being made and the headers that are being added using your browser's dev tools.
code :
intercept(req: HttpRequest<any>, next: HttpHandler):Observable<HttpEvent<any>> {
    if (req.url.match(/api\//)) { // api call
           return http.post('/auth/silentCall', {user: 123}).pipe(switchMap((response) => {
               console.log('Service's call response');

               let clone = req.clone({ setHeaders: { 'Authorization ': tokenService.getToken() } });
               return  next.handle(clone);
           }), catchError((err) => {
               if(err instanceof HttpErrorResponse) {
                   console.log('Your logging here...');
                   let clone = req.clone({ setHeaders: { 'Authorization ': tokenService.getToken() } });
                   return  next.handle(clone);
               }

               return Observable.throw(err);
           }));
    } else {
       return next.handle(req); // call original auth request.
    }
}

This might help you You are using angular-cli proxy and still you are making http request directly to your server:
code :
return this.http.post('http://192.168.1.6:8080/Observer/GetJson', {
return this.http.post('/Observer/GetJson', {

With these it helps I'm doing authorization code flow for oauth2 and there is something I'm doing wrong here but I can't really detect.. , It's hard to know without being able to run it but how about this?
code :
var service = {
    setup(options) {
        return this.processData()
            .then(token => token || this.getToken(options));
    },

    processData(data) {
        const response = this._extractURLParams(window.location.href);
        return response.hasOwnProperty("code")
            ? this.handleAuthorizationCode(responseResult)
            : Promise.resolve();
    },

    handleAuthorization(codeObject) {
        var service = this;
        return new Promise((resolve, reject) => {
            var xhr = new XMLHttpRequest();
            xhr.open("POST", /token, true);
            xhr.setRequestHeader('Content-Type', 'application/x-www-form-urlencoded');
            var params = 'grant_type=authorization_code&code=' + codeObject.code + '&client_id=client_id&client_secret=secret&redirect_uri=' + codeObject.redirectURi;

            xhr.onreadystatechange = function() {
                if (xhr.readyState === 4 && xhr.status === 200) {
                    var responseData = JSON.parse(this.response);
                    resolve(service.storeToken(responseData));
                }
            };
            xhr.send(params);
        });
    },

    getToken(options) {
        let service = this;
        return new Promise(function(resolve, reject) {
            if (localStorageHasToken) {
                resolve(localStorage.getToken()) //dummy text, real code here
            } else {
                resolve(service.handleRedirectionsFlow(options));
            }
        });
    }
};
