I wish this helpful for you The exception is thrown when you Start() the process, not when you set that option.
However, you don't need to do any of that.

it should still fix some issue The "service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion" message usually is caused by the "OnStart" method of the service takes too long to complete (usually 20 or 30 seconds). If you put too much startup code into that method - i.e. network access code, database access code - this is a quite normal response. It usually happens when you try to initialize something from a database and the database isn't ready or too slow to respond. I'd check that any dependent services are up and running.
With Administrtive rights and elevated process rights they should be able to start/stop just about any service. But depending on what is failing inside the service, this still might be a "secondary" error code...

around this issue Here how I was able to find the issue, First check all open transaction your database,
code :
DBCC OPENTRAN ('Databse')
DBCC INPUTBUFFER (58)
KILL 58
SET TRANSACTION ISOLATION LEVEL READ UNCOMMITTED
Select * from Products WITH NoLock
SELECT
    [s_tst].[session_id],
    [s_es].[login_name] AS [Login Name],
    DB_NAME (s_tdt.database_id) AS [Database],
    [s_tdt].[database_transaction_begin_time] AS [Begin Time],
    [s_tdt].[database_transaction_log_bytes_used] AS [Log Bytes],
    [s_tdt].[database_transaction_log_bytes_reserved] AS [Log Rsvd],
    [s_est].text AS [Last T-SQL Text],
    [s_eqp].[query_plan] AS [Last Plan]
FROM
    sys.dm_tran_database_transactions [s_tdt]
JOIN
    sys.dm_tran_session_transactions [s_tst]
ON
    [s_tst].[transaction_id] = [s_tdt].[transaction_id]
JOIN
    sys.[dm_exec_sessions] [s_es]
ON
    [s_es].[session_id] = [s_tst].[session_id]
JOIN
    sys.dm_exec_connections [s_ec]
ON
    [s_ec].[session_id] = [s_tst].[session_id]
LEFT OUTER JOIN
    sys.dm_exec_requests [s_er]
ON
    [s_er].[session_id] = [s_tst].[session_id]
CROSS APPLY
    sys.dm_exec_sql_text ([s_ec].[most_recent_sql_handle]) AS [s_est]
OUTER APPLY
    sys.dm_exec_query_plan ([s_er].[plan_handle]) AS [s_eqp]

I think the issue was by ths following , NodeName: Name of the Chef Node where you want to deploy the application. The parameter passed should match the name of the Server linked in RM Standard environment.
code :
Note : Make sure your node name match with the same in node input field.
Note: Select your appropriate component in your project.
Note: Verify you chef attribute name and attribute input field name. ex: ['test']
Note:upto your knife.rb file location. ex:C:\opscode\chefdk\bin\knife.bat
Note: upto knife.rb located folder. Ex :C:\Users\Administrator.TFS\.chef
