wish help you to fix your issue The cause of your error message
You should be aware about the differences between IEnumerable and IQueryable.
code :
class Archive
    public int Id {get; set;}
    public DateTime IssuingDate {get; set;}
    public string InsertedBy {get; set;}

public class MyDbContext : DbContext
     public DbSet<Archive> Archives {get; set;}
public static IQueryable<Archive> BetweenDates(this IQueryable<Archive> archives,
    DateTime startDate,
    DateTime endDate)
     return archives.Where(archive => startDate <= archive.IssuingDate
                                   && archive.IssuingDate <= endDate);
public static IQueryable<archive> ToIssuingDatesOfUser(this IQueryable<archive> archives,
    string userName)
    // first limit the number of archives, depdning on userName,
    // then select the IssuingDate, remove duplicates, and finally Order
    var archivesOfUser = (userName == null) ? archives :
        archives.Where(archive => archive.InsertedBy == userName);

   return archivesOfUser.Select(archive => archive.IssuingDate)
                        .OrderBy(issuingDate => issuingDate);
public ICollection<string> GetIssuingDatesOfUserBetweenDates(string userName,
    DateTime startDate,
    DateTime endDate)
    using (var dbContext = new MyDbContext(...))
        return dbContext.Archives
               .BetweenDates(startDate, endDate)

I wish did fix the issue. For starters, you need to get the dates in DateTime format, not as strings.
code :
for (DateTime d = dateSTART.Value; d <= dateEND.Value; d = d.AddDays(1))
    // d contains the date for this iteration

fixed the issue. Will look into that further The easiest solution might be to fetch a Date object value for your first date picker, rather than trying to parse the selectedDate string.
In that case you can use .getTime() to get the epoch, and then you just add the number of milliseconds in one day. Then you create a new Date from the epoch, and use that to set the minDate.
code :
  dateFormat: 'dd-mm-yy',
  minDate: 0,
  onSelect: daysNumber,
  onClose: function(selectedDate) {
    $("#date2").datepicker("option", "minDate", plusOne());

var plusOne = function() {
  var d1 = $('#date1').datepicker('getDate');
  var msInDay = 24 * 60 * 60 * 1000; // hours * mins * secs * ms
  if (!d1) return 0;
  else return new Date(d1.getTime() + msInDay);

  dateFormat: 'dd-mm-yy',
  onSelect: daysNumber,
  minDate: plusOne(),

Any of those help I am not able to get records between two dates. , Two ways to do so.
First with two WHERE clause:
code :
var result = context.EntityName
             .Where(entry => entry.DateField >= StarDate.SelectedDate.Value)
             .Where(entry => entry.DateField <= EndDate.SelectedDate.Value).ToList();
    var result = context.YourEntityName.Where(entry => entry.DateField >= minDate
                 && entry.DateField <= maxDate).ToList();
