like below fixes the issue Your DirectView class must inherit from a View class in Django in order to use as_view.
code :
from django.views.generic import View

class DirectView(mixins.CreateModelMixin, View):

AttributeError - CBV 'function' object has no attribute 'as_view'

To fix the issue you can do The problem is that CBVs work differently with decorators as FBVs.
Here's the way to go with it:
code :
@method_decorator(my_decorator)
def dispatch(self, *args, **kwargs):
    return super(MyView, self).dispatch(*args, **kwargs)

will be helpful for those in need I am trying to use class based views, and get a strange error. The way I'm using the view seems to be the normal way: , IngredientCreateView should be a class. So your views.py replace:
code :
def IngredientCreateView(CreateView):
class IngredientCreateView(CreateView):

Python/Flask Stripe Error: builtins.AttributeError AttributeError: type object 'Subscription' has no attribute 'create'

it fixes the issue This error indicates that you have an old version of Stripe's Python library installed in your production environment. The create method for Subscriptions was added on version 1.33.0 released on 2016-05-04. You'll want at least that version in production.

Django "AttributeError: 'function' object has no attribute 'as_view'"

Hope this helps You should use the method decorator for your superuser check, just as you do for login required.
Since a user must be logged in to be a superuser, you can remove the login_required decorator in this case.
code :
superuser_required = user_passes_test(lambda u: u.is_superuser)

@method_decorator(superuser_required, name='dispatch')
class UpdateAdminView(TemplateView):
    template_name = "admin.html"

AttributeError: class Home has no attribute 'as_view'

I hope this helps . Have a look at Flask Restful Documentation; as an example you can find the following in the documentation:
code :
from flask import Flask, request
from flask_restful import Resource, Api

app = Flask(__name__)
api = Api(app)

todos = {}

class TodoSimple(Resource):
    def get(self, todo_id):
        return {todo_id: todos[todo_id]}

    def put(self, todo_id):
        todos[todo_id] = request.form['data']
        return {todo_id: todos[todo_id]}

api.add_resource(TodoSimple, '/<string:todo_id>')

if __name__ == '__main__':
    app.run(debug=True)
