Selenium: Find an element stored in a container

around this issue The desired element is a JavaScript enabled element, so to invoke click() on the element you have to induce WebDriverWait for the element to be clickable and you can use the following solution:
code :
WebDriverWait(driver, 20).until(EC.element_to_be_clickable((By.XPATH, "//a[contains(@onclick,'AssignedAssetsUpdateContainer') and normalize-space()='123456']"))).click()
from selenium.webdriver.support.ui import WebDriverWait
from selenium.webdriver.common.by import By
from selenium.webdriver.support import expected_conditions as EC

may help you . Just remove the dot of the class name. If you want to keep using css selector you do:
code :
driver.find_element_by_css_selector(".enter_pl")

Selenium click on already known element stored in variable

will be helpful for those in need I'm not familiar with Scrapy, but the click() function is WebElement functionality. driver.find_element_by returns WebElement, so you can do something like that:
code :
WebElement button = driver.find_element_by()
button.click()
my_variable.click()

I hope this helps you . Is Selenium looping over Annotations? answer is Yes, Selenium loop over the expected WebElement if you are performing some action over it. So in your case if you have mentioned like
code :
@FindBy(id = DIALOGBOX_YES_BTN)
private WebElement dialogBoxYesBtn;
dialogBoxYesBtn.click();
