Two versions of Talend giving different results

this one helps. Problem resolved. The discrepancy was caused by the two versions of the Talend job not being identical. My colleague had edited part of the job prior to this tMap.
code :

same query giving different results in different versions of postgresql !

I hope this helps . My guess would be that the databases are running in different locales. Compare the output of
code :
SHOW lc_collate;

Why aren't these two versions of a higher order function giving the same results?

like below fixes the issue The difference has nothing to do with arrow functions, but only with the creation of the dispatch variable. As @nnnnnn noted in the comments, by not storing the property before overwriting it you are creating an infinite recursion.
However, even the working version looks like a really bad approach. Overwriting store.dispatch and storing the original value should happen in the same place, or even be factored out into one function, instead of being scattered over your code base. This helps to understand what happens here and prevents mistakes such as yours.
code :
const addLogging = (state, fn) => function(x) {
  console.log("Before: ", state());
  console.log("Argument: ", x);
  fn.call(this, x);
  console.log("After: ", state());
};

document.addEventListener('DOMContentLoaded', () => {
  const store = configureStore();
  store.dispatch = addLogging(() => store.getState(), store.dispatch);
  const rootEl = document.getElementById('root');
  ReactDOM.render(<Root store={store} />, rootEl);
});

Does that help I have 2 HTML files which I believe are identical, but certain versions of diff are giving conflicting results. , Try:
code :
diff -w file1.html file2.html
-w --ignore-all-space Ignore all white space.

will help you I am having a weird problem where two functions that should give identical results are disagreeing. I have included the code below. I know that the results of test1 are correct while test2 are wrong. , The line:
code :
A.triangularView<Eigen::Lower>().solveInPlace(I);
I.transposeInPlace();
return I;

Hope this helps You are misusing a pseudo random number generator and it's seed as a key derivation function - this is really really bad style. The pseudo random number generator "SHA1PRNG" is not a standard like AES - therefore you never know what implementation you get. See also Is there a SHA1PRNG standard?
It makes me no wonder that you get different results. Getting a deterministic result based on a given seed is not a property you can expect from a pseudo random number function.
