fixed the issue. Will look into that further I am trying to parse out data from a NSDictionary but am having trouble. Whenever I try to access this information it prints nil. , You can get the review value as below,
code :
typealias JSON = [String: Any]
let dictionary: JSON = [
    "-LTR7P8PFWHogjlBENiJ": [
        "filmid": 335983,
        "rating": "5.5",
        "review": "Ehh"

if let reivew = (dictionary.first?.value as? JSON)?["review"] as? String {
let dict = info.value as! NSDictionary
if let reivew = (dict.allValues.first as? JSON)?["review"] as? String {

wish of those help I have an NSArray and in the first position in this array there is a NSDictionary. In this dictionary there is two values: first value have a key "name" and second value have a key "number". If I know value of "name" can I get value of "number"? , I solved in this way:
code :
for (int j = 0; j<array.count; j++)
                    NSArray *listaDictionary = [array objectAtIndex:j];

                    for(int x=0;x<listaDictionary.count;x++)
                        if([[[listaDictionary objectAtIndex:x] objectForKey:@"number"]intValue] == myNumber)

App crashes when accessing NSDictionary's values but not when accessing its keys?

should help you out Sounds like myData was does not contain a valid reference. Do you release it or forgot to retain it after reading?
[Update]: To be on the safe side and exclude this just do one more retain after creating the dictionary (just for testing!) and check whether the crash disappears. If not maybe some other variable is overwriting your myData. Set two breakpoints, one at point where the dictionary is assigned to myData, the other one before the point of crash. Check if you see a reasonable summary e.g. "2 keys pairs".

this will help NSMutableDictionary *golferStats = [[NSMutableDictionary alloc] init];
golferStats = [userDefaults objectForKey:@"golferStats"];
code :
NSDictionary *golferStats = [userDefaults objectForKey:@"golferStats"];
if (golferStats == nil) {
    golferStates = [NSDictionary dictionary]; // this will not leak

like below fixes the issue I named the result resultdict and the NSDictionary looks like this: , You can just do it like :
code :
var totalCount = yourDict.objectForKey("summary").objectForKey("total_count")
var totalCount = yourDict.objectForKey("summary").objectForKey("total_count") as! String

Accessing information in [AnyHashable : Any] as NSDictionary

This might help you I am in the process of converting my code from Objective C to Swift. I have a code the calls an objective C method from a swift method. The obj C method returns an NSDictionary. Apparently Swift see this object as a type [AnyHashable : Any]. How do I read the information for this type? For example for a NSDictionary I would say NSString *s = [dict objectForKey:"key"]. What do I call in Swift to access the value in type [AnyHashable : Any]? , try to use code below to unwrap your result:
