UICollectionView dynamic header size calculation

it helps some times I know there are already a lot of posts around this topic, but they somehow didn't lead me to a solution and at this point, after trying for days I don't know what to do. , I finally solved the problem by constraining the width:

reusableView.translatesAutoresizingMaskIntoConstraints = true
reusableView.widthAnchor.constraint(equalToConstant: UIScreen.main.bounds.width).isActive = true

How to set header size of UICollectionView in swift 5.1?

This might help you finally I find the method of referenceSizeForHeaderInSection like @Raj Sharma and @Aira Samson said is depreted
I have specify the layout of the header and footer in the prepare() function and return it to the layoutAttributesForItem function and the layoutAttributesForElements function.

UICollectionView header/footer reference size crash

help you fix your problem I was having this issue when I had set a header size, but without specifying a view for the header. Instead, I used the section insets and set the header size back to zero.

hop of those help? I've read a bunch of posts on adding header to UICollectionView. In an iOS 7+ app in Swift, I'm trying to add a header with a UILabel in it whose height should adjust based on the height of UILabel. The UILabel has lines = 0. , This is how I did it:

Make sure the labels in your header are set to be dynamically sizing, one line and wrapping
