Does that help Solution if default RangeIndex is use DataFrame.loc with specify index and column value:
code :
df.loc[0, 'c'] = 100
print (df)
   a  b      c
0  7  4  100.0
1  2  5    NaN
2  3  6    NaN
df.iloc[0, df.columns.get_loc('c')] = 100

setting value in a slice of a pandas df raises SettingWithCopyWarning

Hope this helps Basically, what you are doing is chained indexing: You are first selecting columns, and then selecting rows from the returned dataframe. .loc allows you to select them simultaneously. It accepts a boolean array too, so you can do:
code :
df.loc[np.isinf(df['ratio']), 'ratio'] = np.nan

Any of those help I want to convert the type of a column to int using pandas. Here's the source code: , Use it in one loc:
code :
retail_data.loc[~retail_data.CustomerID.isnull(),'CustomerID'] = retail_data.loc[~retail_data.CustomerID.isnull(),'CustomerID'].astype(int)
import pandas as pd
import numpy as np

retail_data = pd.DataFrame(np.random.rand(4,1)*10, columns=['CustomerID'])
retail_data.iloc[2,0] = np.nan
print(retail_data)

   CustomerID
0    9.872067
1    5.645863
2         NaN
3    9.008643

retail_data.loc[~retail_data.CustomerID.isnull(),'CustomerID'] = retail_data.loc[~retail_data.CustomerID.isnull(),'CustomerID'].astype(int)

       CustomerID
0         9.0
1         5.0
2         NaN
3         9.0
cleaned_data = retail_data.loc[~retail_data.CustomerID.isnull()].copy()

like below fixes the issue As it says in the error, try using .loc[row_indexer,col_indexer] to create the new column.
code :
netc.loc[:,"DeltaAMPP"] = netc.LOAD_AM - netc.VPP12_AM.
netc["DeltaAMPP"] = netc.LOAD_AM - netc.VPP12_AM
netc.__setitem__('DeltaAMPP', netc.LOAD_AM - netc.VPP12_AM)

SettingWithCopyWarning when setting datetime value in pandas Series

around this issue it is really this part that is causing the problem:
expected_dt_series = expected_dt_series.dt.tz_localize(tz, ambiguous='NaT')
code :
expected_dt_series = expected_dt_series.dt.tz_localize(
    tz, ambiguous='NaT').copy()

expected_dt_series.iloc[1] = tz.localize(
    datetime(2018, 10, 28, 2), is_dst=ambiguous_dst)
