Node.js how to delete\edit data inside json file on the server

I wish this helpful for you To read the JSON file, you can make use of the jsonfile module. You then need to define a put route on the express server. A snippet of code for the express server highlighting the vital parts:
code :
// This assumes you've already installed 'jsonfile' via npm
var jsonfile = require('jsonfile');

// This assumes you've already created an app using Express.
// You'll need to pass the 'id' of the object you need to edit in
// the 'PUT' request from the client.
app.put('/edit/:id', function(req, res) {
    var id = req.params.id;
    var newText = req.body.text;

    // read in the JSON file
    jsonfile.readFile('/path/to/file.json', function(err, obj) {
      // Using another variable to prevent confusion.
      var fileObj = obj;

      // Modify the text at the appropriate id
      fileObj[id].text = newText;

      // Write the modified obj to the file
      jsonfile.writeFile('/path/to/file.json', fileObj, function(err) {
          if (err) throw err;

around this issue Since the Gnu awk v.4.1 the inplace edit has been available (see awk save modifications in place) so, you could store the counter to your awk script variable and use the awk script to edit itself and decrement the counter varible like this:
code :
$ cat program.awk
    this=5                                  # the counter variable
/this=[0-9]+/ {                             # if counter (this=5) matches
    if(this==0) # if counter is down to 0...
        ; # ... do what you need to do
    split($0,a,"=")                         # split "this=5" by the "="
    sub(/=[0-9]+$/,"=" (a[2]==0?5:a[2]-1))  # decrement it or if 0 set to 5 again
1                                           # print
$ awk -i inplace -f program.awk program.awk
$ head -3 program.awk
    this=4                                  # the counter variable

wish helps you File handling require a valid enctype in
, being enctype="multipart/form-data" as per the manual:
code :
<!-- The data encoding type, enctype, MUST be specified as below -->
<form enctype="multipart/form-data" action="__URL__" method="POST">
    <!-- MAX_FILE_SIZE must precede the file input field -->
    <input type="hidden" name="MAX_FILE_SIZE" value="30000" />
    <!-- Name of input element determines name in $_FILES array -->
    Send this file: <input name="userfile" type="file" />
    <input type="submit" value="Send File" />
// In PHP versions earlier than 4.1.0, $HTTP_POST_FILES should be used instead
// of $_FILES.

$uploaddir = '/var/www/uploads/';
$uploadfile = $uploaddir . basename($_FILES['userfile']['name']);

echo '<pre>';
if (move_uploaded_file($_FILES['userfile']['tmp_name'], $uploadfile)) {
    echo "File is valid, and was successfully uploaded.\n";
} else {
    echo "Possible file upload attack!\n";

echo 'Here is some more debugging info:';

print "</pre>";

if(isset($_POST['file'])) { // check if the checkbox was checked.

    if ($handle = opendir('../wp-content/plugins/PDF-Uploader/.')) {

    $thelist = "";
        while (false !== ($file = readdir($handle)))
            if ($file != "." && $file != ".." && strtolower(substr($file, strrpos($file, '.') + 1)) == 'pdf')
                $thelist .= '<td><input type="checkbox" name="file[]" value="../wp-content/plugins/PDF-Uploader/'.$file.'"></td>';
