How to save the results in sdf file format after simulation through python Api in Dymola

I hope this helps . I may be wrong, but I think there is no such flag in Dymola to output the simulation result directly as sdf.
The sdf file is generated after the simulation has finished with dsres2sdf.exe, found in the bin folder of the Dymola installation directory.
code :
Usage: dsres2sdf.exe <result.mat> <result.sdf>

co-simulation dymola fmu file can't be simulated by fmuchecker

I think the issue was by ths following , It seems that dymola has not set the path variable to the license-file in ubuntu. We have done this manually by adding the following lines to .bashrc
code :
# Dymola runtime license, path
DYMOLA_RUNTIME_LICENSE=$HOME/.dynasim/dymola.lic
export DYMOLA_RUNTIME_LICENSE

Dymola with python interface - plotting the results to a text file (.txt) or something similar

hop of those help? In the Dymola Manual Volume 2, "Section 6.7 Python Interface for Dymola" (which the posted example seems to come from), you can find an example related to Multithreading. In this example you can find a way to create plots directly.
There is a nice tool which can be found at https://www.j-raedler.de/projects/dymat/. You can use that to read the default result file (this is the file #ModelName#.mat which is stored in the working directory) efficiently further process it in Python.

How can I get the simulation time of a model in Dymola using the Python interface?

this will help You can include the required CPU time as variable into the simulation result with the flag OutputCPUtime=true. Then you can use the simulateExtendedModel command to get the final value of this variable.
Add the following into your try section and it should do what you want:
code :
dymola = DymolaInterface("C:\\Program Files\\Dymola 2018 FD01\\bin64\\Dymola.exe")
dymola.ExecuteCommand("OutputCPUtime=true")
result, values = dymola.simulateExtendedModel(model, finalNames= ['CPUtime'])
cpu_time = values[0]
    dymola = DymolaInterface("C:\\Program Files\\Dymola 2018 FD01\\bin64\\Dymola.exe")
    dymola.translateModel(model)
    t = time.time()
    result = dymola.simulateModel(model)
    elapsed = time.time() - t

Automatic processing of dymola simulation results with Python

will help you By suggestion from @matth DyMat can be used to write code to automatic process dymola results:
code :
import DyMat

d = DyMat.DyMatFile(path)
varX = d.data("dymola.path.to.variable")

What are (U) Events in the Dymola Simulation log

I hope this helps you . Figured it out: (U) time events occur when using dsu.txt and there are events in dsu.txt.
