should help you out In the ThingsBoard, for SQL databases, UUID is trimmed inside the database and - chars are removed.
Take a look at this util: org.thingsboard.server.common.data.UUIDConverter
code :
public static UUID fromString(String src) {
        return UUID.fromString(src.substring(7, 15) + "-" +
            src.substring(3, 7) + "-1" +
            src.substring(0, 3) + "-" +
            src.substring(15, 19) + "-" +

Rails asset pipeline - how to include asset not in asset path?

By : Patrick McGuire

this will help Ok, after hours of searching I came upon the list of available helper methods in Sprockets - it would have saved me a lot of time had this been linked to from the Sprockets man page on GitHub (there is a link, but it points to #FIXME). From the Sprockets API docs:
(Object) evaluate(path, options = {}) Reads path and runs processors on the file. This allows you to capture the result of an asset and include it directly in another. <%= evaluate "bar.js" %>
code :
<%= evaluate(Rails.root.join("app/assets/some_other_identity/stylesheets/overrides.css.erb")) %>

IO Exception when copying db from asset to internal app memory

help you fix your problem It actually the way i did my code. In my code, i used getWritableDatabase() to create the directory of /data/data//databases. However a dummy db will also be created when i run getWritableDatabase().
So basically instead of running getWritableDatabase(), i made the directory with
code :
public void createDirectory()
        File dbDirectory = new File(DB_PATH);
         if (!dbDirectory.exists())

Copy multiple files from asset to internal storage

To fix the issue you can do This is the original code for copying one file from asset to internal storage I found online:
code :
Step 1 : u need to put the All files name in Arraylist first say ArrayList<String> destFiles .
ArrayList<String> destFiles = new ArrayList<String>();

Step 2 : For loop :

for(int i=0;i<destFiles.size;i++)
Context Context = getApplicationContext();
String DestinationFile = Context.getFilesDir().getPath() + File.separator + "DB.sqlite";
if (!new File(DestinationFile).exists()) {
  try {
    CopyFromAssetsToStorage(Context, "Database/DB.sqlite", destFiles.get(i));
  } catch (IOException e) {
    // TODO Auto-generated catch block

private void CopyFromAssetsToStorage(Context Context, String SourceFile, String DestinationFile) throws IOException {
  InputStream IS = Context.getAssets().open(SourceFile);
  OutputStream OS = new FileOutputStream(DestinationFile);
  CopyStream(IS, OS);
private void CopyStream(InputStream Input, OutputStream Output) throws IOException {
  byte[] buffer = new byte[5120];
  int length = Input.read(buffer);
  while (length > 0) {
    Output.write(buffer, 0, length);
    length = Input.read(buffer);

DEPRECATION WARNING: The asset "ckeditor.js" is not present in the asset pipeline.Falling back to an asset tha

this will help Rails is going to give you a JavaScript file per file in your JavaScript assets folder. For example, you should have a javascript_include_tag for :application because of that "application.js" file there. You’re including ckeditor into your application.js file, which is why ckeditor works. But, you’re trying to include a JavaScript file for an asset that doesn’t exist, meaning there is no "ckeditor.js" file in your javascripts folder.
This message is coming from Rails attempting to look up the asset name for the js file, because in prod Rails tacks on a unique hash to the file name to prevent caching.
