This might help you When editing text with Alt+Shift+R you can see all references in the class updating live. Hitting Esc will still keep these changes however it will not save the file automatically and won't update any references mentioned in other classes.
If you then hit CTRL+S and you have references in other classes errors will appear there (xxx cannot be resolved or is not a field)

How to escape identifiers in Boo?

wish of those help That's what I found (and this is probably the final answer):
It is possible to use @ as a prefix in identifier names. However, by default it creates a different identifier (@a != a). Since @ is allowed, it is possible to add a new compiler step to the pipeline that will do TrimStart('@') on all identifiers. It works ok, you will just have to remember all types of things that have names. If you are using Rhino.DSL, it has a UseSymbols step that converts @a into 'a', which had confused me a lot (I was working with project that included this step by default).

How to quote/escape identifiers such as column names with JDBC?

wish of those help I think the answer to your question is that if you are writing a database neutral application using JDBC, then you need to use database neutral names, and not things that require special escaping per database vendor.
There is nothing I know of in the JDBC which supports that. A ORM product will deal with such things.

Unicode escape sequence for identifiers in Javascript

Any of those help This has nothing to do with your escape sequence, which is fine. It's just that ¥ is not a valid identifier, in contrast to a. An identifier needs to start with $, _, "any Unicode code point with the Unicode property “ID_Start”", or an escape sequence for one of the previous. ¥, being a currency symbol, is not such character.

How curses differs Enter from Ctrl+Enter and other key strokes with overlapping escape sequences?

To fix the issue you can do mc (midnight commander) doesn't use ncurses for input, but may use it for output. Essentially it is looking for specific character sequences.
mc makes little use of the terminfo database, essentially only to check on the xterm mouse- and alternate-screen features.

To fix the issue you can do Eclipse uses SWT which poorly integrates with GTK. Try running eclipse with SWT_GTK3=0 in environment.
