Firewall blocks connection to second WebSocket server

To fix the issue you can do The problem was that the main server WebSocket used TCP and the WebRTC server used UDP, and UDP was blocked by corporate firewall on default.
WebRTC should use TCP as a backup, but I'm assuming UDP is still needed for the handshake.

How to set secure websocket connection using websocket-server and node.js

I wish this help you From the readme for websocket-server:

Can websocket access devices behind firewall/router once connection is setup?

it fixes the issue As long as the connection is established by the client, the server can push messages (in the end, the websocket is a TCP connection).
The only problem you might have is if the client cannot connect using websockets due to some proxy/firewall, in which case you can try secured websockets (wss). These are usually let through because the websockets layer is masked by TLS, which usually is not blocked by firewalls/proxies.

should help you out Your while loop is outside of the connect() context manager block, after the block is exited the connection is closed. You just need to indent some of your code
code :
    async with websockets.connect(websocket_url + 'api-expires=' + expires + '&api-signature=' + signature + '&api-key=' + key) as ws:
        request = {"op": "subscribe", "args": ['trade:XBTUSD', 'instrument:XBTUSD', 'quote:XBTUSD', 'position:XBTUSD']}
        await ws.send(json.dumps(request))

    >>>>while True:
    >>>>    result = await ws.recv()
    >>>>    print(result)

windows 7 firewall blocks connection to named sql instance

Does that help This answer is based on you having Windows 2008 R2 on your SQL Server
Open SQL Server Configuration Manager SQL Server Network Configuration Protocols for *named_instance* IP Addresses Delete 0 from TCP Dynamic Ports else it won't work (you might as well switch the firewall off) and put an unused port number in TCP Port, eg 7200 Repeat the above line all down your list of IPs until you reach the bottom. Click OK

Firewall blocks Go development server

around this issue Depending on your situation it may actually be easier to let your go program only listen on localhost ( This way the program won't need to ask for firewall traversal, and you won't get the message.
In Go that is something like:
