I wish this helpful for you You can avoid your complicated code by passing both conditions you want to check into initial query:
code :
File[] directories = new File(path).listFiles(f -> f.isDirectory() && !f.isHidden()); // loads all not hidden subdirectories, which is what you are trying to do
if (directories != null) { // listFiles can return null, so check it before iterating
    for (File a : directories) {
              rekursion(a);
    }
}

My java code is flawed, but i dont understand why

Hope this helps You are mistaking instantiating an instance of class File with actually writing a temp file to Disk. Take this line
code :
Scanner diskScanner =
        new Scanner(new File("EmployeeInfo.txt"));
File newFile = File.createTempFile("EmployeeInfo", ".txt");
Scanner diskScanner = new Scanner(newFile);

dont understand java alien class

I hope this helps . Found the solution after examining the code a few more times. After creating each monster, each monster is to display their damage and display group damage. Group damage can be obtained by comparing each index of the Alien array against the class if(alien.getDamage()[index] instanceof class) then adding it to local variable for group add up all damages. From there, the value of the Alien pack is stored.

Java, I dont understand why this is happening, variable changes

wish help you to fix your issue The problem very likely is in the way you are trying to combine recursive and iterative approach to update values (there is a while loop, that call the function recursively, which may also trigger while loop in next level of call and the previous one will continue calling itself recursively and you will end up with just mess)
There is no real reason to do that recursively, I would do iterative only approach, something like this:
code :
public void askForDate(Scanner in) {
    System.out.println("Please enter the date that the vehicle entered the car park in this format dd/mm/yyyy :");

    int day, month, year;
    do { // We use do-while to get the first read without condition, although setting date to invalid value (like day = 0) and then running standard while loop will work just as fine
        String[] dateEnteredSplit = in.nextLine().split("/");

        //Assigning each element and converting them to integers.
        day = Integer.parseInt(dateEnteredSplit[0]);
        month = Integer.parseInt(dateEnteredSplit[1]);
        year = Integer.parseInt(dateEnteredSplit[2]);
    } while (!(day >= 1 && day <= 31) || !(month >= 1 && month <= 12) || !(year > 1000 && year < 5000));

    // Now day month and year variables are set correctly and we can do stuff with it
}
public void askForDate(Scanner in) {
    System.out.println("Please enter the date that the vehicle entered the car park in this format dd/mm/yyyy :");

    int day, month, year;
    String[] dateEnteredSplit = in.nextLine().split("/");

    //Assigning each element and converting them to integers.
    day = Integer.parseInt(dateEnteredSplit[0]);
    month = Integer.parseInt(dateEnteredSplit[1]);
    year = Integer.parseInt(dateEnteredSplit[2]);

    if (!(day >= 1 && day <= 31) || !(month >= 1 && month <= 12) || !(year > 1000 && year < 5000)) askForDate(in);

    // You need to save day/month/year variables to other than local scope (like this.day = day)
    // Otherwise it would just somewhere in recursion stack and you wouldn't be able to use it
}

Java issue that i dont understand

around this issue The good answer is 3. "Two".
To understand why, you have to understand polymorphism and overriding: In your case you have two classes:
code :
+------------------+
|        Two       |
+------------------+
          |
        extend
          |
          v
+------------------+
|        One       |
+------------------+

Having trouble extending class (Dont understand whats wrong and dont understand other complex explanations on this site.

fixed the issue. Will look into that further Basically the line super(int health, int strength, int speed, int type); keeps giving me an error that says... , Remove type of parameters and add parameters to class constructor.
